We've all heard the saying, "When life gives you lemons, make some lemonade!" Well sometimes life just doesn't give you enough. With the so many opportunities ahead, its heard to concentrate on exactly where to go. I have been quite bust working that I have realized other things have fallen out of context. I figure it may be time to take a step back and evaluate.
Now, the reason for this post is to ask for support. Going through a major challenge is tough, but I know that with the help of you all and my support network I can overcome anything. I found the other day that yes, I miss my family back in Atlanta and I know that I need to make a trip back soon. Taking my mind off of the non essentials will be crucial in the following weeks. I would love to share more and keep blogging. So this is my commitment to make one post per week!
Hold me to it guys and know that I care so much about all of you reading this.

Struggles
It goes without saying that I have been through many struggles in these past few years. Trying to find work, deciding whether grad school is an option, and even battling what some of you may find surprising, an eating disorder.
I write this because I know we all have our struggles and we all need some guidance in where to go. My guidance in these past few months have come from many people and from God. It's hard to admit, but I know this is what God thrives on. The quote I am starting to live by, " *God gives his toughest battles go his tmstrongest warriors." I know we all have our struggles and I wrote this so that you know it's okay lean on others for support.
Just remember keep fighting!

TIME
TIME: it's one word that I think so many of us wish we had more of. Over these past few years I have realized that my time has been on some non essentials, but the one thing I know is that I have Time. The road to success is one of the most difficult and confusing paths one can ever take, but it is all neccessary. I have the opportunity to make an impact and I know what must be done. God is working and the only person who can make this happen is me. Time. One word one move one action. ITS TIME!

It All Starts With a Jump
Over these passed few months I have dealt many challenges that tested my courage, my willpower, and my sheer will to live. The challenges gave me an opportunity to really see where I was headed. I learned many things and came out with a clear understanding of what needs to be done.
Quite the intro paragrapgh I know. Many of you may wonder what these challenges where. Well I will start with this. Being always active and always inspired to work out I in a way over did it. Not realizing the extent of what I was putting my body through. I had to take a real close look at what I was doing and I made a descison to change it. I sought treatment and found that I needed to let others help. Yes it affected parts of my life but I finally learned what hard work can do.
Today, I have made the choice to start. a change. A 40 day change that should have been made long a go. My friend Doug Gady inspired me. Time for a major commitment! Time for a shift.
The best times of our lives are the ones spent not worrying so much about ourselves but about how we help others and strive to make a difference.
