It Starts Next week...

It just dawned on me that I have one week to prepare for my move to Jacksonville. It also dawned on me that for the first time in four years, I actually have to cook. For these past 21 years, I have always been so blessed to have somebody always willing to cook for me and it has finally hit me that I should not take these small things for granted.

I am continuing to learn every day and I thank God for every day. I thank Gof for all of you guys because it is so encouraging to have so much support as I take my journey.

Thank You,

Chris

A Rainbow Can Mean so much....

Last Sunday, I cried in church for the first time in a while. This past month has been filled with so much emotion and love. I have been able to build relationships with people and have been so blessed with so many people. I think you know who you are.

You know that outline of a rainbow you see around light sometimes, well I looked up while sitting in church and saw that rainbow around only one light. I would usually just pay no attention to it, but in this instance I concentrated on it very heavily. In that simple rainbow I saw God. It reaffirmed something for me. God is always there, in his beauty, his strength, and his glory. He will show himself in the most simplest times and in the most difficult times. Somebody very close to me reminds almost every day, "We all know who is in control." God is. I have found so much strength in that phrase. It is a simple phrase that means something huge.

It really is amazing how something as simple as a rainbow can show something so big. God is always there, and He will always find you no matter where you are in life.

Love you guys so much,

Remember John 3:16

Chris

What I have learned...

I have finally decided to begin doing this again. To say that the past four years have been a challenge, would be an understatement. God works in the strangest ways, but it has taken me a very long time to understand that things happen for a reason, and unfortunately, I still have a lot more understanding to grasp. In the past year, I have grown more closer to God than I think I have in my entire life. Through the friendships I have made and power of love, I have been so blessed to see God all around me. One particular family has taught me that God is number one. They and God have got me through so many obstacles and I pray for them and thank them everyday. Thank you.

Beginning my new journey next semester will be a learning experience like no other. I am prepared and have no idea what to expect. It saddens me in a way that I am leaving so many people behind, but like I have been taught, it is happening because it needs to happen. I just have to keep all of these relationships up. It is a test of strength and a test of how much trust I put in God. I thank you all so much for supporting me and being there for me. It means so much to me and I am so very blessed to have you guys and so many others in my life that will continue to teach me very valuable lessons.

Much Love,

Chris
