FEAR...

Have you ever wondered sometimes what is holding you back? That feeling of " I know exactly what to do, but..."

Some of you may know what om talking about, and some may not, but I can assure you that there is something to be learn in that very short statement.

You see, there's this thing that makes us second guess, it holds us back from dreams, keeps us stuck where we are, and literally makes us sometimes want to crawl into a whole and never come out (figuratively speaking).

Can you guess what is. It's probably the most evil diabolical word in the human language....FEAR.

Now I'm not writing this to be negative, I'm writing this to show that many times in life we will be beat down, many times we will fail and many times we just get stuck. But I'm telling you the one thing I have learned from many mistakes and many past experiences, "If you key fear take charge, you will never know what you are truly made of."

The greatest people in the world have all been at a point where they thought they could never govforaatd, bit guess whY, every single one of them overcame fear and now iys time we all do this together.

If there is something holding you back, something keeping you still, I would love to hear from you. Please share and know that I am open. I'm moving forward and I encourage all those who may feel stuck or be overwhelmed to contibue this this journey with me. It's not easy trying alone and we all know the old saying "Strength in numbers."

Keep ticking and Godspeed!

The Power of the mind...

Have you ever wondered why some days you just feel down and unable to accomplish anything while on others you feel like you are on top of the world screaming "IGOTTHIS"? WELL , that's your mind.

Here it goes. We all get sick and we all need to sometimes just slow down, but when we think about negative things it holds us back from the real feeling of living. Yes , stress is real, we will loose jobs , friends, money, and maybe opportunities. But if we can take those failures and the what we think is negative and just flip it. Amazing things happen. WE LIVE. The positive thoughts tame over and go harder, we push further and we reach higher.

Being in the fitness industry and working around so many different people I see it all the time. Workouts and staying in shape is just like everything else in life. When you come in with a positive outlook you tend to always have a better workout and when negative thoughts enter your performance suffers.

And sometimes you just gotta go without thinking, remember sometimes not thinking at all is better than thinking to much.

I'lol finish with the famous Nike slogan and trademark phrase. "Just do it"

With love and until next time,
Chris

A GIFT TO FIGHT THE FIGHT ...

IN MY LAST POST I HIGHLIGHTED ON SOME POINTS ABOUT HOW WE CAN TAKE THE WORD " FIGHT " AND PRETTY MUCH APPLY IT TO EVERYTHING!

SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO TAKE LIFE BY THE HANDS AND WALK WITH, OTHER TIMES WE HAVE TO RUN, AND IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES WE HAVE TO JUST PLAIN FIGHT! WE ALL HAVE A OUR INNER DEMONS AND WE ALL HAVE STRUGGLES THAT SOME PEOPLE DO NOT SEE, BUT WHAT WE BEGIN TO LEARN IS HOW WE CAN USE THOSE STRUGGLES TO ULTIMATELYHELP AND HEAL OTHERS AROUND US.

WITH MY NEW JOB AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO RUN A BOOT CAMP, I HAVE REALIZED THAT A GIFT IS SOMETHING MEANT TO BE SHARED. IF YOU HAVE A GIFT I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT IT. WE TAKE STRIDES EVERYDAY TO GET BETTER AT WHAT WE DO. NOW ITS TIMES TO PRACTICES THE TALK!

I'LL FINISH WITH A CUTE STORY. THE OTHER NIGHT WHILE TEACHING MY CLASS, I HAD A KID START DOING JUMPING JACKS AND THEN SUDDENLY STOP. WHEN I ASKED HIM WHY HE STOPPED, HE REPLIED, "ITS JUST TO HARD." I ASKED A SIMPLE QUESTION. 'HOW DO WE MAKE IT EASIER?' HIS REPONSE, "I DUNNO, I GUESS I JUST HAVE TO DO IT MORE OFTEN." SMART KID. AND GUESS WHO PUSHED THROUGH 60 MORE JUMPING JACKS?!

GOD SPEED!

THE FIGHT GOES ON!

FIGHT! Now thats a word that can make us or break us. One thing I have realized is that we can apply this everything. We can take on mind through a fight, we can take our body through a fight, but when we loose sight of things, we stop and our guard comes down.

I know this is a very sporadic post, but its a must, because below I am sharing some of the lessons and hardships I have learned.

Two weeks, I went through a group training that most normal people would have considered "brutal" it tested my strength, my pride, my willpower, and most definitely my ability to "get beat up and get back up." This training was group fight! While working to get certified I did get hit with some curveballs. That when I realized the fight is not only with my body, but with the world. There are times when we must sacrifice and let God take over a bit. No he does have a driver's license , but he is the best copilot we have.

My point of this post is to show that life can go on, no matter what. Let's focus this week and get a moving! Yes I mean literally and mentally.

All for now,

Chris

The Definition of Roller Coaster

Sometimes we just have to start brand new. The past few weeks have been what this blog is all about, a roller coaster. Seems that I've got up and down back and forth through and through. There's a battle to fight every day. I'm asking you friends to stand up to be with me it's all I can ask for right now. Yes for every action there's a reaction.

A New Year=A New Me.

Hello All,

Yes its has been a while, but I thought starting back would be a good idea. Im posting today for a huge reason. Over these past few years, I have dealt with many deamons, may setback, and a lot of disappointment. However, from those challenges I have learned that they only make us stronger. We get up everyday with a new opportunity to change, with an opportunity to create something of ourselves. Well, my time on this earth has been wasted with many things that do not matter. At one one point i began to realize how enjoyment I was sucking out of life.

I know now what to do, but I know also that I need support, love, guidance, and a switch in mindset to get through this. Thats why I'm posting tonight. As heard as this is, I know it has to be done. Please read below.

"To all who I have had the pleasure of meeting and seeing in my life,

It has been to long living under a mask. I have to get it out there for the accountability and the support I will need to say move life forward. I have spent far to long focusing on something that means nothing in the grand scheme of things. Food and exercise. In my profession, I am surrounded by it all day long, but what I have come to realize is that yes, I took it to an extreme and in the process lost a lot. Now though is the time for change, now is the time that I admit my inner struggles and realize that with a new year comes a new slate! I am not expecting anyone to feel sorry for me, as this is not intended to be a sob story. It is a chance for me to get it out there and ask for support. So with that that said, I am committing to change in 2016!

I would love to hear your replies and know what you will be working on in 2016. One thing I know is that I will be focusing more on God than on me. In the words of Lacrea "More of YOU and less of me, God is enough."

I'll finish by quoting  good friend as well. "EVERYDAY IS DAY ONE!"

God Speed and God Heal,

Much Love,

Chris

When a healthy thing takes control...And how God can fix everything!

Exercise. Yes its healthy, but sometimes when you put your body through to much, it starts to become something that isn't. I'm writing this because over this past year I have realized how much activity I have I gotten and in some points a lack of nutrition. I'm not writing this for anyone to feel sorry for me, that's not what I'm aiming for. I'm writing this because I have realized that keeping it hidden is not the solution. I have found a good balance now and I want you all to know that things are really in full stride forward. I'm taking the opportunities in front of me and going full force. With teaching and studying, I know its a battle to release the distractions, but I realize that I have to let other things take control.

I also know right now that my faith is growing. I have come to the Lord and have been feeling his presence, knowing He is always there. That's the great thing about this. Instead of feeling sorry, I am realizing that God is putting me through this challenge for a reason. To help others and to fight a battle that in the end will make me a better person. If any of you have any questions or want to reach out, I am always willing to talk.

Thank you for your support and God Bless!

Chris
