"One Simple choice can change the course of your life!"

"One Simple choice can change the course of your life!"

It has been quite sometime since I have been active on the blog, but there comes a time where you just have to start things again. It has been quite the well rollercoaster since we last had an update. There are so many great things and well yes, some not so great things that have happened.

Let's start with the title of this post and why. Two weeks ago, I was handed a book by a very good friend called The Ripple Effect. The friend also just so happens to be the author as well. I began to read the book immediately after he gave it to me and within the first pages, I knew this had been placed in my hand for a reason. God is giving signs all of the time. I picked up the phone and called Doug to have him tell me his story and what a blessing that was. It inspired me. I knew and know things will change for the better. Yes, I have a lot of reflection on this book and will finish those thoughts once I finish the book.

Now, on to today. This morning we attended the Buckhead church. I was a tad disappointed to learn that Andy Stanley was not going to be preaching. However, the service ended up being one of the most memorable services that I can remember. I eft with this.
  • Anknowledging your past is good.
  • Dealing with your past is better.
  • Leveraging your past is best!
I want everyone to reflect on that and in the next post I am going to share some major thoughts on what impact the past has made and the influence of being able to leverage the events.

We all go through life learning. Whether it is school, relationships, or work, we are always on the road to be educated. I have been through changes in my life and have learned many valuable lessons that get me through the day.

With so much love!
Chris Stanley

Hawaii, Food, and Making the Most out of life with God...

As many of you know, I just got back from Hawaii. To say the trip was amazing, might just be an understatement. As we traveled to Hawaii, the trip definitely did not start out great. We had mechanical issues in LA and sat on the tarmac for a good 2 hours! A kid behind me got so nervous she started asking her mom if she was going to die. A little extreme, but the flight attendant made it all better by taking her up to the flight deck and having the captain talk with her. We got to Hawaii and immediately enjoyed a great meal at the Big Island Grill. Let's start there.

There is so many different types of fish in Hawaii and they are all so fresh. My favorite, the Ahi Tuna and Ono, which means a variety of things in Hawaiian, including "delicious." I got the Ono at the Big Island Grille and it was divine. It started a culinary Hawaiian journey. I will talk about some of the other experiences in a later post. I want this one to focus more on how God gives us so many chances to just live.

He showed that what happens make all the difference in the world!

Okay. this was supposed to go out about a year ago. Lets move on to the next entry...
